This morning I was trying to get Anneli to put her shoes on. I yelled to her from the bathroom to put her shoes on, and she was talking back about something and then Christopher started talking about something else! We were all talking all at once and he exclaimed, "This is such a cacophony!" I heard this and asked him to repeat himself and he said it again. I then asked him to tell me what cacophony meant...he told me it meant "two sounds joined together and it makes a bad sound." Smarty pants!

My mom was talking to the aide in Christopher's Kindergarten class and she said that Christopher wrote a sentence all by himself and they were amazed that it was all spelled correctly. Here is the sentence he wrote, "The octopus blends into the ocean scene." They asked him if he wrote it all himself and he said, "yes it was in my head."

One evening last week Christopher was on the phone with Shaun. I heard him say, "Have you started your journey yet Dad?" I laughed because "journey" is defintely the word to describe Shaun's long commute home from Norwich. Anyone who knows Route 2 would agree I'm sure!
