A Relaxing Day...

After a relaxing day at the Spa...

Today was a great day! The trip to the Spa was delightful. I enjoyed the facial, lunch, my new hair style, and the full body massage that was booked for me by my loving husband! I called Shaun on my way home telling him he should have picked me up because I was almost too tired to drive home. It was a great day.

Christopher had a super soccer game--he was so excited to tell me he scored a goal and kicked the ball a lot! Way to go Christopher! He even did an awesome job at his swimming test. What a big guy!

After I got home, my parents came over and we headed out to dinner. It was my choice where to go, since it was my special day. I wanted to try something new so we went to Fuji Japanese Steakhouse and had Hibachi. The chef was awesome and the food was super good. It's a bit pricey but I'd greatly recommend it! The kids can't wait to go back again! (Sorry, I didn't take my camera! I definately have to next time!)

After dinner, we raced home and watched The 134th running of The Kentucky Derby and ate Ice Cream Cake!!
It's sort of a Birthday Tradition for us to have my birthday party and watch the Derby! My Pepe was the biggest fan, actually my entire family since they used to own and train race horses!!! It was fun having it run on my Birthday this year--we missed you Pepe--can't believe it's been ten years!!! I picked #9 and #5. Shaun picked #9 and #20. My dad chose #20 and #5--he was right on! I totally felt bad for #5 Eight Belles though--she was such a beautiful horse. Poor thing collapsed after breaking both her front legs. They had to euthenize her on the track. Horses lives are quite fragile. Poor thing.

I had a super fun day!! Gee, I'm 30...I don't think I feel that old...wait until I'm 35!!!
