Our Weekend

This weekend Anneli wasn't feeling too good and we had LOTS planned. Our calendar listed--swimming for Christopher, swimming for Anneli, Lunch, then a Soccer game, Cub Scout Campout, Christopher had a Star Wars Birthday Party at attend, then town's block party and finally back to the Scout Campout! CrAzY!?!?! How did we fare?
Well, we started out skipping swimming because we didn't want Christopher being too tired with him being sick this week. Anneli also skipped her swimming since she wasn't feeling well. We ran to Toys R Us to buy his friend a Birthday Gift. It was a Star Wars party so he had to buy him Star Wars toys of course!

Christopher had a gift card his Memere from New Hampshire bought him awhile back for graduating from Kindergarten so he decided to buy a Wall*E toy. Since he is such an AWESOME big brother, he let Anneli pick out something special too. She picked out an Eve toy--from the movie Wall*E too. What a great big brother!! THANKS MEMERE!!

Next we ate at Subway with 'White Kitty' ...or should I say 'Gray Kitty'...

Then it was off to Soccer, where Christopher got a little winded and tried out his inhaler for the first time. Never a dull moment...

Then it was off to the Cub Scout Campout where we signed up to sleep over, and played with a few old friends that we haven't seen in awhile. (sorry no pics!)

We then ran home, changed and off Christopher and I flew to his friends Birthday Party! It was a super fun Star Wars party! Tons of games, Star Wars music, Pizza and Ice Cream Cake! They even made their own Light Sabers! Super fun!!!
You can just barely see Christopher's face in the back, holding up his blue light saber he made.

The kids are opening the garage door with the 'force'! (Chris is in the yellow shirt.)

Then it was back to the park to set up his tent. He was happy because he got back in time to see some rockets lift off! Super fun! He can't wait to launch one next time! We ate dinner as the night grew dark rather fast.

Shortly after setting up our tent, Anneli and I ended up coming home. We realized she was running a fever and the best place for her was her own home--and my bed! Yeah, we sort of had our own sleepover! Fun, fun, fun. While we were laying down watching television later that evening, Shaun sent this picture to me with the following message: Christopher fell asleep during the Flag Retirement Ceremony.

I guess he had a long, long day!

Sunday was a nice lazy day! Anneli still wasn't feeling too good and Meme, Pepe and Aunt Val were off in Maine for the weekend, so we just hung out together and started working on Halloween Costumes...that's another post by itself! What have I gotten myself into...
