Shaun got home on Friday night, and we went to dinner at Chili's. It had been a long day with swimming lessons in the morning, lunch with Meme, camp and then dinner. Poor Anneli ate her dinner and then fell right to sleep... We woke up bright and early Saturday morning and headed off to Kuras Berry Farms to pick more blueberries and raspberries with Shaun! It was a fun morning. The grass was a bit wet and the berry bushes were too, but the berries were big and juicy!! Yummmm! We all filled our baskets and picked about 20 pounds of blueberries and about 2 1/2 pounds of raspberries! Yummm!! Now the fun part....freezing them!! UGH!
We came home for about an hour and the kids enjoyed their little splash pool in the yard. Then it was time for Christopher to head off to the YMCA for a Rock Climbing Birthday Party for his good friend Emily. Nobody made it to the tippy top of the wall, but they all did a great job! Way to go Christopher! I was proud of you!! :) Then we headed home, woke up Anneli--who had fallen asleep after a busy, busy morning--and we were off to a friends house in Lebanon, CT for their Annual Pig Roast Picnic. The kids had fun, and didn't want to leave even though they didn't know any of the kids! Sorry I have no pictures!
Sunday was a lot more relaxing and not as busy as Saturday! We woke up and enjoyed fresh Blueberry Pancakes! Thanks Shaun!!! They were delicious as always, but even better with the fresh picked berries!! Then it was off to church.
We ate Sunday dinner as always with my parents & Aunt Val. After dinner, we headed off to Tomaso Nauture Park in town. The nature park is small, but it was a nice peaceful walk and we saw TONS of painted turtles, a huge snapping turtle, a muskrat, some huge fish swimming, two rabbits, and a cute little frog. The kids were pretty excited because they picked up the little frog. IKK!!! Of course I didn't have my camera, but Shaun captured the little frog on his cell phone camera!

that frog is so tiny!! Sounds like a jam packed weekend. Blueberries have been my biggest craving during this pregnancy. Wanted to get out and pick some but don't know if it is too late.
