I am a soccer Mom.

Okay, I was reading an article on the Fourth of July in the Hartford Courant at my parents house titled Tastes Change But Capris Endure. This article says that it's the year of the dress. (and the skirt and the white jeans and the leggings and the really short shorts and the really long shorts...) Yet, it is not the year of capris, since they weren't seen on the big screen in "Sex and the City". However, according to a lady at Glamour magazine "Capri pants are always a Gamour Do." I thought "Great!!" since I was wearing one of my favorite pair of Khaki Capris with a Solid Green T-Shirt with ankle socks and a pair of gym sneakers. I continued to read the article and the last few sentences caught my eye and had me laughing!
"The worst thing you can do is pair them with ankle socks and gym sneakers," she
says. "You'll instantly be targeted as a soccer mom." Is that such a
bad thing?

Great! I guess that confirms it...I am officially a soccer mom!

Oh, that's awesome. Don'tcha just love it when you're reading fashion articles and find out that you've been commiting some faux pas?
Love it.
I wonder where they come up with what is ok and what is not ok to wear.
And I guess we're finally "old" when we decide to wear what we like (what we've always worn) and no longer go with what is in fashion.
