Anneli's "Good Mail"!

We love our mail carrier, Roy, especially on days like today when he delivers us good mail! Today, Anneli got a package in the mail from Soup Mem and Ray for her Birthday--which is Friday. We can't wait to see them on the 24th when we will have a Princess party for Anneli, but they know how much the kids LOVE mail and sent her something now. Thanks!! Anneli loved getting mail and totally LOVES the Princess Bubble Bath and the Princess Chapstick as you can see...

What Your Handwriting Says About You...

What Your Handwriting Says About You

You are a fairly energetic person. You know how do pace yourself, and you deal well with stress.

You range from very outgoing to very shy. You are a shapeshifter who is very versatile. You adapt well, and you look at things from many angles.

You are balanced and grounded. You know how to get along well with others.

You don't a lot of space, and you prefer to spend time with others. You are a little nosy and intrusive. You sometimes don't give people enough space.

You are somewhat traditional, but you are also open to change. You listen to your head and your heart.

You are a decent communicator. You eventually get your point across, but sometimes you leave things a bit ambiguous.

Chris n Ana

This is Christopher, glad to be back watching television again!
This is Anneli, dressed to go out in 70 degree weather! Luckily I got her to take off the Hat before we went to the Cheesecake Factory with friends yesterday! (Super yummy!)
She's really into wearing winter hats and gloves lately for dress up. Heck, she never wanted to wear them outside in the winter! :)

Anneli's Latest MESS!

Anneli is something else! Whenever I am doing something whether I'm on the phone, in the bathroom, or on the computer, she'll take it upon herself and get her own snack. I love her independence, but what a mess she makes!

She pulls her chair over to the refrigerator so she can open the freezer.
She then gets out an ice cream sandwich and...

Eats most of it and leaves a bit or two on the coffee table so she doesn't get too messy. (She's not even supposed to eat in the living room--but I think she thinks if I don't see her it doesn't happen!)

Then she will repeat the process! The other day I found "three" wrappers on my coffee table. Luckily the ice cream sandwiches are gone...what will it be today...

A Relaxing Day...

After a relaxing day at the Spa...

Today was a great day! The trip to the Spa was delightful. I enjoyed the facial, lunch, my new hair style, and the full body massage that was booked for me by my loving husband! I called Shaun on my way home telling him he should have picked me up because I was almost too tired to drive home. It was a great day.

Christopher had a super soccer game--he was so excited to tell me he scored a goal and kicked the ball a lot! Way to go Christopher! He even did an awesome job at his swimming test. What a big guy!

After I got home, my parents came over and we headed out to dinner. It was my choice where to go, since it was my special day. I wanted to try something new so we went to Fuji Japanese Steakhouse and had Hibachi. The chef was awesome and the food was super good. It's a bit pricey but I'd greatly recommend it! The kids can't wait to go back again! (Sorry, I didn't take my camera! I definately have to next time!)

After dinner, we raced home and watched The 134th running of The Kentucky Derby and ate Ice Cream Cake!!
It's sort of a Birthday Tradition for us to have my birthday party and watch the Derby! My Pepe was the biggest fan, actually my entire family since they used to own and train race horses!!! It was fun having it run on my Birthday this year--we missed you Pepe--can't believe it's been ten years!!! I picked #9 and #5. Shaun picked #9 and #20. My dad chose #20 and #5--he was right on! I totally felt bad for #5 Eight Belles though--she was such a beautiful horse. Poor thing collapsed after breaking both her front legs. They had to euthenize her on the track. Horses lives are quite fragile. Poor thing.

I had a super fun day!! Gee, I'm 30...I don't think I feel that old...wait until I'm 35!!!

Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to ME! Today is my 30th Birthday! It's a landmark birthday, I guess you could say, but I'm not worried about turning 30 at all. It's just another birthday! Some people get stressed about their age, but I don't. I'll admit though, I'm glad Shaun is older than me! :) I'm happy with the things I've done in my life and can't wait for the next 30 years!
I'd post a picture but my computer is on the fritz! UGH!

A shout out to my brother-in-law Jeff! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!! What a super day to have a Birthday!! We hope you have a great day! Again, I'd post a picture but my computer is cRaZy today! We hope to catch up with you soon!
Well I'm off to the SPA! Au Revoir!

Tomorrow--Thanks Shaun!

Tonight, after the kids fell asleep, Shaun gave me my Birthday Card--since my birthday is tomorrow. Not just any birthday though, my "30th" Birthday! It was such a sweet card---I was glad I wasn't at the store with him when he picked it out though--it can take Shaun forver to pick out a card. It was perfect though! Thanks!! Inside the card was a piece of paper...it had an itinerary for a Day at the Spa first thing tomorrow morning!! What a perfect gift! It'll be ncie to be pampered tomorrow while Shaun runs around town with the kids to Swimming Lessons and Soccer! Thanks for the best gift a busy mother could ask for! What a sweet husband--you are the BEST!
