Pinewood Derby is TODAY!

Stay tuned for photos of Christopher's super cool Pinewood Derby Car! He and Shaun did an awesome job designing it! He didn't want to post a picture on here because he wanted it to be a secret until he races it! He's racing his car this morning with his Tiger Den! Good luck Christopher (and Shaun too) and most importantly HAVE FUN!!!!

Plumb Tuckered Out!

While I was busy this evening, going over my lesson for Relief Society on Sunday, Anneli came to me and asked me to read one of her new library books about Cats to her. I told her to just let me finish what I was doing and I'd meet her on the couch and we would read. I finished up and noticed it was super quiet. This is how I found her when I walked into the living room!

I guess her early morning music class, trip to the library, indoor picnic lunch, and playing on the computer wore her out today!! I think I might join her...Good night! :)

Blog Catch Up!

As you can see, I'm behind on my blogging! I was hoping that when the New Year started things would slow down. As you can see--they aren't! We are always running! Never a dull moment here in the St. Lawrence family. Since I blogged last we have been...

Writing our Valentine's out.

Anneli couldn't wait to do her Valentine's after finding Princess Valentine's at the store! So she stood at the coffee table and wrote out all of them that day--over a month before Valentine's Day!! Now she is anxiously waiting to share them with her friends!

Attending a Birthday party for a friend at Build-a-Bear!

Anneli was so excited to attend a birthay party at Build-a-Bear for one of her little friends from church. It's crazy to see her little friends turn '4'! I can't believe my baby will be '4' in May! YIKES!

Attending Meetings for church, school and scouts!

Here is a picture of Anneli watching a show on my ipod while I'm in a meeting! Lucikly, Anneli just goes with the flow and comes with me most of the time! :) If she's not watching a show on the ipod, she's coloring a princess picture or drawing lady bugs!

Taking Yearbook pictures at Christopher's school!

And sitting at the computer designing pages for the yearbook and taking more pictures for the yearbook...

I'm getting lots of practice with my new camera! That's for sure! :)

Gearing up for the pinewood derby!
Christopher designed his car and they have started carving it! Stay tuned for a sneak peak soon!!!

Constructing a Cardboard Race Car with CubScouts
Christopher and Shaun have been pretty busy with their den making a cardboard race car. They are having a Nascar Night where they will race their cardboard race car! It's been fun! Stay tuned for pictures!!

Hopefully I'll have some time and will be able to blog a bit more this week! However, as usual it's another busy week here...

Phew!!

One of Christopher's best buds from school joined the wrestling club in town a few months ago. He talks about wrestling a lot, since he practices three times a week. Yesterday, his friend invited Christopher to a wrestling match to see him in action. Shaun was working late so I bundled up the kids and off we went to see his little friend wrestle. Now when I say 'little friend', I mean 'little friend'. Christopher's friend weighed in at a whopping 49 pounds! We watched him wrestle another little fella and it was a little tough to watch. Our poor little friend came off the mat crying. I'm so glad it wasn't Christopher! After watching his friend, I asked Christopher if he'd like to wrestle. Thankfully he said, "NO WAY!" Phew! That was a total relief!! What would I do if he said yes...

Watching Television

While I was sick last week, the kids patiently entertained themselves. I love how they can do that!
Here is how I captured them watching television on two separate occasions...
Apparently the show was a little scary!
See Anneli peeking over the top of the couch!?

I had never seen her watch television from that vantage point before, but I was informed she does it all the time... What a sneaky little monkey!!

Our After Christmas/New Years Letendre Family Trip to Sunny Florida!

UGH! I can't believe I'm so behind! I had a real bad cold/flu thing last week after we came back from our trip. I'm feeling better today so I thought I'd catch up and post some pictures. These are only a few of the almost 1200 pictures I took! Enjoy!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On Sunday, December 28th, after the hustle and bustle of Christmas, we jumped on a plane with Meme, Pepe and Aunt Val to warm and sunny Orlando, Florida.
My sister Jessica, her husband Nick and their two boys (my super cute nephews) Cole and Carter from South Carolina were going to meet us there. The kids were excited, since we had been planning this for about a year! It was a great trip! We enjoyed our time together, going to the Disney Parks, Sea World, and of course shopping! :)
Day 1 Taking an Evening Swim (Sunday, December 28th)
When we first got there, the kids wanted to swim. So in the pool they went...
Day 2 Disney's Hollywood Studios (Monday, December 29th)
Today we decided to hit Hollywood Studios so we could check out Playhouse Disney, Star Wars and Indiana Jones! Fun, fun, fun!
Day 3 A Day of Rest --Shopping and Swimming! (Tuesday, December 30th)
The kids were a little tired today, so we hung out together and went shopping and swimming together!
While we were shopping the kids spotted a lizard. Can you find him!?
The kids were excited because we found the pool at the resort with the water slide! The boys LOVED it!
That evening we went to one of Pepe's favorite Dinner Shows in the Orlando area, Arabian Knights! My nephew Carter LOVES horses, so this was one of the highlights of the trip for him! I didn't feel like dragging my huge camera, so I don't have any pictures.
Day 4 Sea World (Wednesday, December 31st--New Years Eve!!)
We started out our day feeding Dolphins at Sea World. Everyone had a blast! It was one of the things Christopher wanted to do again after coming in April. Everyone--even Meme, Pepe, Aunt Val, Cole, Carter, Aunt Jess, and Uncle had a blast!
Day 5 Sea World (Thursday, January 1st, 2009--New Years Day!!)
We spent another day at Sea World checking out the Killer Whales today. Christopher was pretty excited to have Meme, Cole and Daddy sit in the 'Splash Zone' at the Shamu Believe Show! It was a chilly day, but fortunately they didn't get wet! :)
Day 6 Magic Kingdom & Epcot (Friday, January 2nd)
Today was a long day for the kids! We started out early at Magic Kingdom and ended up at my favorite park Epcot! It was a long day, but we made it!
Day 7 Shopping! (Downtown Disney) (Saturday, January 3rd)
Today we were taking it easy again, since we had a busy day the day before. We went back to Downtown Disney to pick up a few things in the cool Disney Store there with the kids Birthday and Christmas money!
Day 8 Packing up and Heading Home (Sunday, January 4th)
The kids were a little sad today because it was time to pack up and head home. They hated to leave each other and poor Anneli wanted to stay in Florida, because it was warm!!
Fun Times....
