cRaZy CoUsInS!

Here are a few pictures that we took when Cole and Carter were visiting!
Group pictures with kids are cRaZy!
Everyone doing their own thing!
The posers and Cole staring off into space... This is one of my favorites!
What do you see Cole!??

I almost got them!

The Brothers.

Anneli...who wanted nothing to do with the boys getting their picture taken!

Poor, Poor Puppy!

Anneli's artistic expression... "It's okay Mom, he wanted to be a kitty." said Anneli. "See his whiskers?"
After a spin in the wash Puppy is happy to be a Puppy again!

Our Famous Artist--Christopher Michael

This month, Christopher had a piece of artwork on display at the Plainville Public Library in the Townwide Art Show. His Kindergarten class took a field trip there on Monday--he was so excited because not everyone in his class had something on display. There were only two kids in his class that had something on display. He felt pretty special! He and I went over to the library on Tuesday morning when Anneli was at her Kidzersize class to see his artwork. He took Shaun over there on Wednesday night to see it. We are so proud of our budding artist! Way to go Christopher Michael!!

Randomness...

I was looking at the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women Heart-Friendly Cities this morning. I was pretty happy to see that Connecticut did pretty well with Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford in on the Mid-Size Metros list as #8, with of course Salt Lake City, Utah as #1. Also, check out this great GO RED HEART STYLE GUIDE. There are some great ways to keep your heart healthy and just keep in shape! There are even some great recipes included and an article about eating out--which is my weakness!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've been on a cleaning kick here at home the past few days. I saw a link this morning from my favorite consumer reporter's site for different concoctions you can whip up to make homemade cleaning products from. Click HERE to check it out. I haven't tried any of them, but they seem simple enough and would eliminate soooo many different cleaning products under my sink! Maybe I'll mix up some different concoctions this afternoon...
Well, I'm off to drop Anneli off at Kidzersize and then Christopher and I will clean and listen to David Cook on my i-pod! I love his voice--I hope he wins American Idol tonight--even though I'm not a huge fan of the show, Shaun and I will probably tune in tonight to see who wins! Go David Cook!!
The Best of Boston!
This was the highlight of Valerie's graduation for Christopher and Anneli--THE "T"! After the ceremony we went back to Aunt Val's apartment and changed and helped Val pack a few winter things to bring home and then we took a stroll to find something to eat. We ate at a cute little Pizza Place between Boston University and Valerie's apartment---both on Commonwealth Avenue. Even though it was only 1 "T" stop to Aunt Val's apartment, Christopher, Anneli, Aunt Val and my mother took the "T". The kids LOVE the "T"! We'll have to visit Boston again soon!
Monday, Monday...
Today is a CrAzY day! We got up quick and ran to my parents house so Christopher could say goodbye to Aunt Jess, Cole and Carter before he had to go to school. They were leaving to go back to South Carolina this afternoon/evening. Christopher and Cole enjoyed a few minutes drawing race cars together. It was fun watching the two of them draw together. (photos of them drawing below) Then we headed to McDonalds for lunch (ikk!--but it's one of the kids favorite places to go !) and Christopher was off to catch the school bus to Kindergarten. Finally Anneli and I had a chance to come home and do laundry and unpack our bags from the wild long weekend we had! it was a blast to see everyone, but I have a lot of work to do around here!
