A Fabulous FUN Friday!

What a "Fabulous FUN Friday" we had! We woke up this morning, puttered around the house for a bit, had lunch and off we went to Norton Park for the end of the summer town Recreation Fun Day! The kids LOVE Fun Day, we were disappointed that it was canceled last year due to rain, but the weather cooperated this year! YIPPEE! Meme came with us and we had a blast! The kids started out by making their rounds to each of the tables staffed by familiar camp councelors. Christopher felt like a big shot because he knew most of them!

At the end of the fun day, our friend Erica gave Anneli a bouquet of balloons to bring home. She was pretty excited! Thanks Erica!!

Our "Fabulous FUN Friday" was far from over....

After that we raced home, grabbed something quick to eat and ventured out into the TERRIBLE thunder and lightning storm to our Public Library for the end of the Summer Reading Program party to see Captain Papillion, Prodigious Purveyor of Positive Pirating from New Orleans. It was super fun--very entertaining for all--the children as well as the adults. We (Shaun, Christopher, Anneli and I) really enjoyed the show! Everyone was singing and dancing--what fun! Thanks Friends of the Library!
