Drivers, Start Your Engines....

It's PINEWOOD DERBY TIME!!!
Saturday (January 30th) was the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby. Christopher, with the help of Dad and Pepe, made his second Pinewood Derby Car. He made a Blue BSA 100 Year of Scouting car. It was pretty sharp and went pretty fast!

Anneli made a car too. She named her car 'Flower's & Flames'. She was so excited and proud to have a car this year! Her car was pretty fast, second in the sibling race.

They also made boats to race in the Rain Gutter Regatta. The boats are raced in rain gutters filled in water. The kids power their boats by blowing on the sail using a straw. It's another fun scout activity to watch! The kids had a blast! Anneli could have stayed there racing ALL day long!

Here are a few of my favorite cars. (These cards were made by a former Cubmaster, not a Scout.)
Check out this sponsor car for a local funeral home...

Perhaps I'll make a car next year....

And I love the Rain Water Regatta.
So cool.
The funeral home's car was hilarious.
I love it all. Your pics are great. And I'm so excited for when we get to start attending.
