Found it!!!

You might have heard us mention Geocaching in some of our previous posts. Geocaching is our new family hobby! It is sooooo much fun!

What is Geocaching you ask?
Geocaching is a type of scavenger hunt using exact geographic coordinates you find HERE and GPS devices to find waterproof containers that sometimes have treasures in them! It's really a lot of fun for the whole family. You can find out more information HERE. No matter where in the country or even world you are, you can geocache!! According to geocaching.com, there are 1,048,313 active geocaches around the world! We highly recommend it as a great family fun activity!!! :)

We have been Geocaching for about a month now and we have found over 30 different caches. it's sooooo exciting to find them and then come home and log them online! Some containers have only logs in them, while others have treasures--where the kids can choose something but they must leave a little trinket too! It's a great way to explore new areas and get out in the outdoors! Now we are enjoying trackables, like travel bugs and geocoins. We purchased a Geoscout Coin and have left it in a cache and hope it travels around the country! We can't wait to see where it goes!

Here are some pictures of us enjoying Geocaching!

If you'd like to join us on a Geocaching adventure sometime, let us know! We'd love to take you along!
