Retail Adventures...

While Shaun was on vacation, we bundled the kids up (since it was quite chilly and windy!), piled in the van and headed to Natick, Massachusetts. What is in Natick, MA you ask? Natick Collection--the biggest Mall in New England! If you haven't been and you LOVE shopping you must go!! It's a beautiful mall and has over 200 of the finest retail stores--including our main destinations the LEGO Store and the American Girl Store.

The kids were so excited! Christopher and Shaun had a blast in the LEGO Store filling a large container with various LEGO elements of various shapes, sizes and colors and picking out a few different transportation kits to make. Super fun! Anneli had a blast at the American Girl Place. She had her heart set on matching PJ's for her and Kit and a new dressy outfit for Kit too. She picked out the Honey Puppy PJ's for her and her doll. She also picked out Kit's School Girl Dress for her doll. Then Shaun made the mistake of showing her that Kit could have her hair done. Anneli & Kit are fortunate to have a nice Daddy who took them over to have Kit's hair done in two little pig-tails. What a good Dadddy! :)

Then it was off to the American Girl Bistro for dinner with the family. Anneli, Kit, and I had reservations for a late dinner, but it wasn't busy so we ate a little early with Daddy and Chris. It was fun, even though Chris wasn't thrilled! :) Especially with the dessert menu--they only had "Treats for girls"! He got some ice cream anyway--and liked it for that matter! :)

It was a great day, shopping and seeing how excited the kids were!

I saw these cute little clear and black diamond Pandas at Swarovski Crystal when I was visiting Valerie this weekend at the mall. They cost $450. and they are very small--only 2 3/4 x 3 5/8 + 2 7/16 x 2 1/4 inch! Even if you wanted them you can't just go to the store and buy them. First, you have to join the SCS (Swarovski Crystal Society) for $45 then you can purchase these super cute little Pandas. Well I guess we'll just have to visit Val again so I can see them in the cute display behind glass.
